My stay at Hotel Costa Verde was truly lovely! The views from my room were simply amazing, overlooking the ocean and lush surroundings. While the pool area was lovely, I did find the towel situation a bit inconvenient, as I had to carry them from my room. Overall, though, the wildlife and dining options greatly enhanced my experience.

I stayed in a Studio Plus room, which was incredibly spacious and well-equipped. The ocean view from my balcony was stunning, and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay.
Service

The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to assist me with any requests. However, I did notice that after my meals were served, the breakfast service was somewhat lacking, as they didn't return for coffee refills.
Location

Hotel Costa Verde is perched on a hill with lovely views. It's conveniently located close to the beach, but be prepared for a bit of a trek returning due to the steep incline.
Dining

I enjoyed meals at El Avion and Anaconda, both of which offered delicious food and beautiful views. Dining here added such a special touch to my overall experience.
Facilities

The hotel has excellent facilities, including multiple pools and easy access to on-site shops. However, the towel service could be improved, as carrying towels back and forth to the pool was a hassle.

I had a wonderful time at Hotel Costa Verde, surrounded by the stunning views of the Pacific and the sounds of the jungle. However, the location requires a bit of stamina since it involves navigating some steep paths to the beach. Overall, the ambiance, natural beauty, and friendly service made my stay nice.

Rooms

My room had an very nice view overlooking the water, and I loved having a tub on the balcony. There were monkeys right outside, making mornings quite special. However, I did notice some noise from cars on the main road which affected my sleep.

The staff was generally friendly and helpful. They provided great towel service and were very accommodating overall. I appreciated their assistance in planning excursions, although communication could have been improved.
Location

The hotel is on a hill with stunning views of the coast. Though the hike to the beach is a workout, it's worth it for the privacy of lesser-known beaches. It's ideally situated near some good restaurants.
Dining

I enjoyed the food options available. The restaurants offered delicious, well-priced meals, and I especially liked the fresh salads that were served. Dining while overlooking the nature was a highlight.

The amenities included a good variety of services like car hire and laundry, which made my stay more convenient. The pool area, especially the adult pool near the bar, was a great place to relax and take in the views.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Costa Verde during my stay. The location offered stunning views of the coast, and I enjoyed seeing wildlife from my room. However, the staff's indifference and some room conditions left much to be desired.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious, with a kitchenette and a terrace that provided beautiful ocean and forest views. However, I found the décor to be somewhat outdated, and it felt a bit cluttered at times.
Service
5.0
The service was hit or miss; while some staff were responsive via WhatsApp for requests, others seemed disinterested and less than welcoming. I expected more considering the price.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is on a mountain, which gives great views and access to nature. However, the steep walk to the beach can be challenging, especially with kids. A bus service is available, though.
Dining
8.0
Breakfasts were quite good, featuring hot waffles and a nice selection. The dining options nearby were also convenient and added to the experience.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included clean pools and a lovely atmosphere, although some areas looked a bit rundown. The adult-only pool was a nice touch, but the service there could be improved.

I had a nice stay at Hotel Costa Verde, enjoying the stunning views and the proximity to some great restaurants. However, the distance to the beach and the uncomfortable beds left something to be desired. The wildlife was a great touch, but I would likely explore other options next time for a better overall hotel experience.

Rooms
6.0
My room had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony, which was a highlight. However, the beds were uncomfortable and the separate, non-climate-controlled bathroom was quite odd.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and helpful when approached, but the service was inconsistent. I often felt like I had to chase down staff for basic requests, which was disappointing for the price.
Location
6.0
The hotel is set on a hill, giving it gorgeous views but making access to the beach a bit of a trek. While it was close to several restaurants, the steep walk down and back up might not be ideal for everyone.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed the meals at the hotel, especially breakfast at the Anaconda restaurant with its amazing views. The food was good, but the service during breakfast could use improvement.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel had multiple pools and offered some wildlife viewing, the pool without bar service was a letdown. Also, I found carrying towels from my room to the pool inconvenient.

I had an very nice experience at Hotel Costa Verde, with amazing views and a close connection to nature. My room was clean, spacious, and provided amazing opportunities to see wildlife like monkeys and toucans right from my balcony. Though the walk to the beach could be a little tiring, it was manageable and I enjoyed the scenery. The dining options were excellent, but I did wish for a direct shuttle to the beach during the day.

The breakfast was delicious, particularly the fruit-topped waffles. I appreciated the variety available even though I didn't try lunch or dinner options.
